As a law student with Kirk Larsen & Ascanius you will be part of an innovative and creative law office. We are busy and ambitious – but we also prioritise a good work environment, which always has room for humour and a helping hand
We make a point of offering our students interesting and independent tasks, in order for you to achieve a wide insight into the profession as an attorney as well as an understanding of how the law is used in practice.
Therefore, as a law student with us, you will be involved as much as possible in the solution of our clients’ challenges, and you will be given responsibility and be challenged from day one.
In order for you to be able to get a feel of the professional challenges and to develop a business-oriented approach to the work, you will be attached to one specific attorney or assistant attorney. This attorney will be your point of reference and support regarding professional relations and will also make sure that you settle in well at the office. In consultation with you, the attorney will adapt your tasks so that they will match your expertise.
Your tasks will to a great extend depend on the department’s area of the law and could e.g. include:
As a law student with us, you will be a part of a strong unity of students. Professional and social events - in which also assistant attorneys participate - are organised. The students participate actively in the planning of these events, and thus you will be able to contribute and take responsibility. You will, of course, also receive invitations for social events and trips abroad for the whole company.

We value your professional and personal development highly. Therefore, we have two half-yearly evaluation interviews to discuss your job satisfaction, your professional development and future expectations.
We strive to discuss your wishes and possibilities regarding a future cooperation with the company as assistant attorney no later than during the 9th semester of your education.
As a student you will usually work one day a week at one of our offices. We are, of course, flexible when it comes to planning the working hours, in order for this to match your studies. Furthermore, you will have the possibility of taking time off during the exam period
