Jesper provides advice on commercial issues, especially in legal matters related to the construction sector, farming industry, wind turbines, sale and purchase of businesses, real property, civil and arbitration proceedings, and negotiation and drafting of contracts.
Jesper focuses on value-creating solutions and not legal tug-of-war. Jesper has obtained a strong legal understanding and in particular an extensive negotiation experience, a substantial business knowledge and board member experience.
His clients and cases are spread all over the country.
During his entire career, Jesper has been involved in construction projects and has a thorough knowledge of the legislation governing construction, including AB 92, ABT 93, ABR 89 as well as the recent versions AB 18, ABT 18 and ABR 18. On several occasions, Jesper has been engaged in development projects for e.g. residential or commercial buildings.
During many years, Jesper has gained a significant experience in developing solar cell and wind turbine projects, installation of plants, subsequent sale and purchase, as well as obtaining agreements with neighbours and obtaining permits from authorities. The work also includes advice to land owners or neighbours who wish to rent or sell land to developers.
Jesper has also significant experience in relation to the agricultural legal issues. The work includes purchase and sale of farms with or without livestock for the purpose of both continued operation, mergers, possibly including various investor or succession models, as well as more operational circumstances as lawsuits regarding livestock diseases, supply agreements, construction contracts, transportation contracts, and trade agreements.
Another area of practice is sale and purchase of businesses as well as bigger residential and commercial properties, where Jesper has provided advice to both buyers and sellers and in connection with successions.
Finally, Jesper is an experienced litigator, who has conducted numerous cases at the district and high courts as well as at the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Court (VBA), whereby he achieved the right of audience before the high courts already as assistant attorney and the right of audience before the Supreme Court in the shortest possible time.
Jesper has expert knowledge within his fields of competence, which is a contributory factor in order to provide highly qualified and professional advice which is value-creating and solution-oriented in the specific situation. Jesper always takes outset in the specific needs and requests of the clients.
Jesper serves as member of the board in a number of Danish industrial companies, and also as chairman of the board.
